One building Solution Ltd is based in Leicester, with expert knowledge of the local economy, offering a full range of professional building surveying, consultancy and architectural design services which is focused on the commercial, retail and leisure property arena.
With over 20 years of experience working within the building profession across a range of schemes and commissions around the Midlands, UK and Europe. One Building Solution Ltd has developed an expertise across the various sectors and will offer a breadth of services to facilitate clients around the ‘building life cycle’.
Our clients vary from owner occupiers, landlords, tenants and property developers and offer a dedicated service (Building Solution) for small and medium sized business along with non-profit, social and community enterprises.

Learie Gonsalves

Company Director
is a fellow member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with over 30 years’ experience in the industry working as a Building Surveyor, Contract Administrator, Project Manager and as Architectural Technician.
Learie set up One Building Solution Ltd with his wife Nicola Gonsalves who is also a Company Director in November 2015, following from his valued experience gained working for Leicester City Council, Warwick District Council, Arcadis, CBRE and Pick Everard delivering architectural schemes,professional surveying and project-based disciplines across all the sectors nationally and across Europe.
Drawing upon the wealth of knowledge and experience he obtained at the above businesses, Learie (through One Building Solution Ltd) has the ability to offer the required breadth and depth of experience and professional expertise in all aspects of architectural design and the core Building Surveying disciplines offering One Building Solution.
To further develop Learie’s personal skills and expertise as well as expanding the business offering Learie is currently undertaking the relevant courses in Expert Witness and Party Wall to become a member of the respected associations. i.e Expert Witness Accreditation Service and Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.
In Learie’s professional capacity he is an active member of the RICS. Roles include APC Assessor, Inspire Ambassador, member of the Built Environment. Building Surveying Journal Editorial board and RICS sector advisory forum board member. He is passionate about inspiring future talent along with the development and promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the industry in his role the above roles mentioned.
Learie’s further voluntary work also includes sitting on the Leicester City Council Conservation Advisory panel, Executive Board member of The Race Equality Centre (TREC) Leicester and acts a Antigua and Barbuda Diaspora Midlands diaspora Co Ordinator for the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission.
Aside from the above Learie is a dedicated family man and his personal interest include football, travelling, fine wine and dining, music, running, local community engagement and conservation.
